- 3 / 5By Erin LeaBefore I ordered the $15 red beans and rice with sausage, I asked the waitress what comes with it (sides or bread). She said that nothing comes with it, but I could pay for additional sides; and that the meal, as-is, was pretty substantial with more to it than just red beans, rice, and sausage. (For $15, I hoped she was right!) My meal consisted of bland red beans (in abundance), less than a cup of white rice, and a 2” piece of sausage that tasted like cheap Walmart smoked sausage. I had expected this pricey Cajun restaurant to be much more flavorful and not so skimpy on the meat. Andrews Restaurant knows how to get a great return on their investment: charge $15 for a meal that costs them less than $1 to make. On the positive side, the staff was friendly.March 24, 2017
